Furthering its position as a leading company working with the water and energy sector,Oman Investment and Finance Company (OIFC) Khedmah has signed an agreement with Honeywell. This agreement supports Khedmah’s continuous effort to offer innovative solutions to its customers, individuals and corporates, in order to reduce their carbon footprint and contribute towards a more sustainable future.
The agreement was signed on January 9, 2023 at the Sheraton Oman Hotel, with the presence of Mr Said bin Ahmed Safrar, OIFC’s Chief Executive Officer, and Mr Umar Khan, General Manager for Energy, Sustainability and Smart Cities of Honeywell Building Technologies, Middle East, Turkey and Africa, paired with senior management teams from both parties.

The agreement between Khedmah and Honeywell will help make available innovative and more environmentally friendly solutions to customers. Through offering efficient solutions that help reduce customers’ carbon footprints, this collaboration also supports the country’s journey to establish smart and sustainable cities. Specifically, Honeywell will deploy its advanced sustainability and smart city solutions, including Honeywell Buildings Sustainability Manager. Powered by Honeywell Forge, Honeywell Buildings Sustainability Manager is a suite of solutions designed to help reduce the environmental impact of buildings, and support carbon neutrality. By utilising artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), customers will benefit from smarter, more sustainable buildings without compromising on the occupant experience.

Additionally, this partnership expands the range of services offered by Khedmah, which include the ability to recharge entertainment channels, process vehicle insurance payments, and make payments to the General Authority for Social Insurance among others.
