Sharjah Asset Management joins Al Muntathar Reserve afforestation campaign

A large group of employees of Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, participated in the Al Muntathar Reserve afforestation campaign in Al Bataeh, organised by the Sharjah Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA), under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Sharjah.

The campaign aims to increase awareness of environmental and local biodiversity preservation, and is in line with the company’s social responsibility agenda to promote positive practices among its employees, ultimately inspiring a culture of environmental sustainability habits among local communities.

Saeed Sharar, Chief Operating Officer at Osool Services, a subsidiary of Sharjah Asset Management, said: “Our participation in the Al Muntathar Reserve afforestation campaign is in support of our environmental sustainability goals as a company. We wholeheartedly support and are actively involved in community participation from government and private entities and institutions in Sharjah, which contribute to supporting national strategies aimed at adopting initiatives that achieve sustainability concepts across all sectors.”
