On Friday, November 3, the UAE will celebrate UAE Flag Day. The celebration marks the day His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan became UAE president in 2004 and was launched in 2013 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The day honours the country’s past, present and future.

Ahead of UAE Flag Day, H.E. Masaood Ahmed Al Masaood, Chairman of Al Masaood Group, shared his thoughts on what the day signifies and commented on the role of Al Masaood Group in supporting sustainable development and prosperity in the UAE.

“On UAE Flag Day, we gather to raise the flag of the UAE up high and pay tribute to our nation’s forefathers, whose values live with us every day and are echoed through our visionary leaders. The strength of our nation lies in our solidarity, standing shoulder to shoulder with fellow citizens and residents and propelling us towards progress and prosperity. While we celebrate the achievements of the past, let us also embrace the limitless possibilities of the future. We stand at the brink of a new era, with challenges and opportunities awaiting us. At Al Masaood Group, we are unwavering in our commitment to growing hand in hand with our nation, pursuing excellence and innovation,” he said.

Adding: “Our dedication to sustainable development and the prosperity of the UAE remains steadfast, as we work towards supporting our Nation’s leaders in positively changing and impacting the lives of our people. On this momentous occasion, let us recommit ourselves to the values that define our extraordinary nation: unity, compassion, and forward-thinking vision. May the spirit of the union always guide our path, and may our national flag remain a symbol of our patriotism, identity, and sovereignty.”
