Schneider Electric and King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) have announced the signing of an agreement with for a multi-faceted manufacturing facility.
The facility, spanning 20,000 sq. meters, will be built within SPARK, located between Dammam and Al-Ahsa and will manufacture key systems. This includes Distributed Control System (DCS), Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) and Compressor Control System (CCS) to support Saudi Arabia’s energy value chain.
It is planned to receive a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) green building certification, with the project expected to be completed in Q3 2025.
The agreement, it was shared, is set to leverage Schneider Electric’s industry expertise to ensure the reliable and optimal functioning of industrial processes, focusing on security and efficiency through the facility’s operations.
