France to participate in Arab Health 2024

Eighty-seven French companies are set to attend Arab Health under the French Healthcare banner, it has been announced.

The medical sector trade show is taking place from January 29th to February 1st, 2024 and will be attended by thousands.

Business France is supporting the French delegation comprising 87 companies across three French Healthcare pavilions, following the distribution pattern from the previous year:

  • Hall Za’abeel 2 hosts companies specialising in the medical equipment and device sector.
  • Sheikh Rashid Hall accommodates companies focused on orthopedics, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation.
  • Sheikh Saeed Hall 1 caters to companies specialising in the Imaging and Diagnostics sector.

Business France highlighted that in the healthcare sector, the relationship between France and the United Arab Emirates is characterised by a growing collaboration, with French companies’ offerings ranging from innovative technologies and high-quality medical equipment to healthcare management solutions.

Speaking about this, Axel Baroux, French Trade and Investment Commissioner, said: “Witnessing the dynamic collaboration between France and the UAE in shaping the future of healthcare, the UAE is a strategic partner for France, encouraging mutual innovation and collaboration. Together, we contribute to the progress of healthcare, ensuring a healthier and brighter future for both nations.”

Further, Business France highlighted France 2030 and Health Innovation 2030, aimed at raising France’s profile as “the premier innovator in European healthcare.”

The France 2030 strategy aims to elevate the French healthcare industry’s global prominence, allocating €7.5 billion over three to five years, with a specific €400 million fund earmarked solely for MedTech.
