Volts expands geographical presence by supplying first energy storage systems to Nigeria

Volts, the first energy storage manufacturer in UAE, has announced it is expanding its geographical presence by supplying a batch of energy storage systems in Lagos, Nigeria.

The company shared that seventeen energy storage systems have been shipped to Nigeria and are ready to be installed at local sites.

METSCO Company is set to distribute the energy storage systems in the local market, it was shared.

Volts noted that all energy storage systems are produced at its production facility in Abu Dhabi; in total, they include 65 batteries, 2 kWh capacity each, and 25 inverters with a total power output of 150 kW.

“Our strategic collaboration with METSCO has paved the way for this milestone achievement, aligning with our goal to enhancing the quality of life in Nigeria. Volts energy storage solutions not only address current challenges but also make the foundation for sustainable and resilient energy future of the region. Volts plans include new supplements as well as expansion of partnership programs in Nigeria,” the company said.
