Saudi Arabia has launched clean diesel and Euro-5-compliant gasoline.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, these fuels are “low-emission fuels” that align with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives.
The SPA also noted that the two offerings support the ‘Saudi Green Initiative’ and the ‘Saudi Energy Efficiency Program’, which have established the Saudi ‘CAFE’ standard.
This, it shared, aims to improve vehicles’ fuel economy and encourage automotive manufacturers to embrace the latest energy-efficient technologies in vehicles imported into the Kingdom.
