Distichain, a TradeTech platform that delivers international trade-as-a-service for B2B marketplaces, has announced a strategic partnership with ZERO13, an international carbon exchange, registry, and aggregation hub ecosystem part of GMEX Group (GMEX).
Through the partnership, the existing GMEX-enabled Distichain digital custody and payment railway solution will be extended by integrating ZERO13’s carbon offset solution and Distichain’s SaaS B2B trade platform.
The two shared that in regions like Europe and the USA, where carbon emissions regulations and offset incentives exist, Distichain and Zero13 will be able to facilitate cross-border trade and enable businesses to “demonstrate carbon neutrality” or “offset their emissions” to access specific opportunities or contracts.
