Goodyear introduces innovative Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) technology to enhance fleet management in Saudi Arabia.

by Hadeer Elhadary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company launches its cutting-edge Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) in Saudi Arabia. This advanced solution integrates  digital technology with Goodyear’s tire expertise to deliver advanced fleet management capabilities for logistics and mass transport providers in one of the world’s most demanding environments.

Designed to meet the needs of fleets operating in Saudi Arabia’s challenging weather conditions, Goodyear TPMS enables proactive tire monitoring and maintenance, allowing operators to act before they suffer any damage or downtime – enhancing safety, efficiency, and sustainability. The introduction of TPMS is poised to reinforce Goodyear’s value proposition and drive growth for fleets in the region.

Goodyear TPMS provides real-time monitoring of tire pressure and temperature to detect issues like under-inflation, air leaks, and mechanical faults. Using a cloud-based platform, the system delivers predictive insights about the fleet’s tire health via user-friendly web and mobile applications, enabling fleet managers to reduce downtime and optimize performance. By maintaining optimal tire conditions, TPMS improves fuel efficiency, reduces CO2 emissions, and lowers operating costs, all while enhancing safety and compliance through early detection of potential issues.

Saban Gungor, General Manager of Goodyear Middle East & Africa, commented on the launch, stating, “We believe that Goodyear TPMS can be a game-changer for fleet operations in Saudi Arabia. This innovative technology exemplifies our commitment to delivering solutions that enhance performance while prioritizing safety and sustainability. We’re thrilled to bring this technology to local fleets to enhance their day-to-day performance and give peace of mind when it comes to the safety of their drivers and assets.”

Combined with Goodyear’s CheckPoint solution, this launch strengthens the company’s position as the preferred mobility partner for fleets across the Kingdom.
