Work management platform Asana has launched an AI ESG chatbot with the aim of making its ESG strategy and disclosures more accessible to stakeholders and facilitating easier engagement.
“This bot will allow anyone, regardless of ESG subject matter expertise, to have a conversation with the bot in order to understand Asana’s ESG strategy and data, in conjunction with the report,” said Catherine Buan, Head of Investor Relations and ESG.
Baun explained that the bot also functions to guide users to understand “key concepts” they might not be familiar with and answer questions “on the fly.”
In a letter published on the site, Dustin Moskovitz, CEO and Co-Founder of Asana, said: “We believe technology can empower teams to achieve more together—to be more creative and empathetic and find more meaning in their work.”
Asana was launched in 2011 by the two former Facebook co-founders, Moskovitz and Justin Rosenstein.
The product has 147,000-plus customers and millions of users across over 200 countries and territories.
According to its 2024 annual report, 100 per cent renewable electricity was maintained across its operations in FY24, alongside continuing to be “carbon neutral.”
