Dubai’s Air Chateau, CRISALION Mobility Partner for Electric Air Taxi Services

by Madaline Dunn

CRISALION Mobility is partnering with Dubai-based private aviation operator Air Chateau, it has been announced. According to the company, the partnership will support the development of electric air taxi services in the UAE.

Air Chateau has pre-ordered ten Integrity eVTOLs—currently in development—expanding CRISALION’s conditional pre-orderbook to 125 aircraft.

CRISALION Mobility General Manager Manuel Heredia commented: “This partnership opens not only the door to a strategic region for Crisalion, but will also form part of Air Chateau’s approach to providing sustainable air travel services to its customers. We are truly proud to have been chosen as a partner by Air Chateau.”

This is the company’s first commercial partnership in both the private aviation market and the Middle East, and will see the two work together on a growth plan for electric air taxi services in major cities, including Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Air Chateau’s Chairman, Samir Mohamed, added: “Through this partnership, we will not only enhance connectivity but also contribute to alleviating the burden on legacy ground infrastructure, complement existing transportation networks, reduce congestion and to build a sustainable future.”

According to recent Bain & Company figures, the global fleet of eVTOL aircraft could grow to 12,000 by 2035. However, the management consulting company noted that they are unlikely to become a mass-market mode of travel and that eVTOL aircraft will not surpass 15,000 until the mid-2030s, which it said is later than many industry experts are forecasting.
