UAE President issues Emiri decrees appointing Directors-General at Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has issued an Emiri Decree appointing Mohamed Saeed Al Qubaisi as Director-General of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Sector at Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) in his capacity as the Ruler of Abu Dhabi.

Further, HH also issued an Emiri Decree appointing Wael Abdulqader Mahmoud as Director-General of the Audit Sector at Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority.

The ADAA is responsible for promoting accountability, transparency, and integrity through financial and administrative auditing across all Abu Dhabi government entities and institutions of which the Abu Dhabi government has a vested interest of over 25 per cent. 

It monitors its subject entities’ financial and operational activities to combat identified or potential financial and administrative misconduct.
