Go Green With Taiwan Launches Call for Proposals

Taiwan recently launched the Go Green with Taiwan global campaign, inviting the global community to submit proposals that utilise Taiwan’s green products and solutions and focus on fostering technological cooperation to achieve environmental and economic sustainability.

The top three proposals will each be awarded a cash prize of USD 20,000, it was shared.

The “Go Green with Taiwan” global proposal campaign was organised by the International Trade Administration (TITA) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).

Officially inaugurated on 20 June, a press conference took place at the “AMBI Space One,” an exhibition space within Taipei 101, and featured a number of initiatives, including a paperless electronic check-in wall, and “eco-friendly” tableware.

The event showcased advancements in circular economy solutions, low-carbon transportation, energy and storage, and environmental equipment through Naked-Eye 3D panoramic animations.

The campaign was announced by Chairman James Huang of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Director General Cynthia Kiang of the International Trade Administration (ITA) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Honorary Ambassador Stan Shih, Founder & Honorary Chairman of Acer Group, along with representatives from numerous Taiwanese sustainable green energy companies, industry associations and foreign diplomats in Taiwan.

Also in attendance at the event was Stan Shih, Founder and Honorary Chairman of Acer Group, invited as the Honorary Ambassador of the Go Green with Taiwan global proposal campaign.
