Novata, a private markets ESG-focused data solution provider, has launched “Novata for Companies,” a sustainability solutions offering for carbon accounting, sustainability management, and regulatory compliance.
“The launch of Novata’s new company offering is a direct response to the growing demand for robust and reliable sustainability solutions among private companies,” Novata said in a statement this week.
The launch features a Sustainability Management Solution, which the company said enables companies to collect, store, and collaborate on sustainability data; a digitised carbon calculator through which companies can measure Scopes 1, 2, and 3 emissions; and the CSRD Solution, which combines ESRS data management tools, a digitised double materiality solution, and expert advisory practice.
“We’ve spent the last three years building a best-in-class data management platform that investors trust, and now we’re excited to bring that same level of innovation and reliability to private companies,” said Alex Friedman, CEO and Co-Founder of Novata.
The B-corp-certified company launched commercially in April 2022 and is a partnership between the Ford Foundation, S&P Global, Hamilton Lane, and Omidyar Network.
