Middle East Sustainability Forum to Launch Fourth Edition in Bahrain with Global Business and Climate Leaders

by Hadeer Elhadary

The Middle East Sustainability Forum has announced the launch of its fourth edition, taking place on 27–28 January 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel in the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the theme “Advancing Alignment, Innovation, and Implementation for Energy and Climate Transformation.” The forum will be held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, and supported by the Supreme Council for Environment.

The event is expected to attract over 400 senior business leaders and sustainability experts from the region and around the world. Over two days, the program will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive dialogues addressing key topics for achieving the region’s carbon neutrality targets. More than 50 speakers from the Middle East and North Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas will share insights, strategies, and solutions for building a sustainable climate economy through collaboration, mobilization, and innovation.

Forum discussions will cover aligning business models with climate action, unifying ambitions and actions across the region, scaling up financing for climate- and nature-positive initiatives, developing regulatory and policy frameworks, enhancing human capacity, accelerating innovation and technological advancements, and highlighting the role of women in climate action.

Human capital development will remain a key pillar of the forum, with the second day dedicated to capacity-building. In partnership with leading regional and global consulting firms in sustainability and ESG practices, the forum will host practical workshops aimed at enhancing understanding and skills to help public and private institutions embed sustainability and climate considerations into their core priorities, and build real capacity for implementation.

Registration is now open for the fourth edition of the forum, which presents a valuable opportunity for participants to build partnerships with industry leaders worldwide, and benefit from hands-on workshops designed to develop skills in sustainability, energy, and climate, enabling them to better prepare for the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Commenting on the announcement, Laila Danesh, Executive Director of FinMark Communications, founder and organizer of the forum, said:

“We are delighted to announce the fourth edition of the forum, which will once again bring together an outstanding lineup of speakers, partners, and participants. The forum has established itself as a leading regional platform for dialogue, engagement, and capacity-building in support of climate action across the region. We look forward to a rich and impactful program featuring in-depth discussions, practical learning, and constructive collaboration that will contribute to the ongoing transformation of the region’s economies toward a more sustainable and resilient future.”
