Al-Futtaim has announced a major milestone for Lexus with the arrival of the RZ500e and ES500e, introducing battery-electric vehicles to the brand’s line-up in the UAE for the first time in its history.
The launch expands Lexus UAE’s electrified portfolio, with the RZ500e built on a dedicated battery-electric vehicle platform. The new-generation ES also comes with two electrified powertrains, with the fully electric ES500e alongside the ES350h hybrid.

The RZ 500e and ES 500e represent more than just new additions to the Lexus lineup, bringing the brand’s signature quietness, comfort, craftsmanship and smooth responsiveness into the world of fully electric driving experiences.
Lexus RZ500e
The RZ500e is an all-electric SUV that delivers 375 hp through dual electric motors, with Lexus’ DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system continuously adjusting power between the front and rear wheels to support stability, control and responsive handling. Its 74.6 kWh battery provides up to 460 km of driving range under the WLTP cycle*, while acceleration from 0–100 km/h takes 4.6 seconds.
The RZ500e has a 22 kW three-phase AC onboard charger and supports CCS2 DC fast charging, giving owners the flexibility to charge at home or while out. Using 22 kW AC charging, the battery can charge from 10% to 100% in approximately four hours, while a 150 kW DC fast charger can take it from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes.**
The RZ500e cabin focuses on the comfort and quality expected from Lexus, while making technology easy to use throughout the journey. Ventilated front seats and heated front and rear seats keep passengers comfortable, while the Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System with 13 Speakers creates a richer in-car audio experience. Key controls and connected features are kept within easy reach, while Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 supports the driver with a range of safety and assistance technologies.
The RZ500e is available in six mono-tone and four two-tone exterior colour options, complemented by three interior colour choices.
New-Generation Lexus ES
The new-generation Lexus ES luxury sedan arrives in the UAE with two electrified powertrains: the battery-electric ES500e and the ES350h hybrid. The ES500e carries the qualities that have long made the ES a comfortable, composed luxury sedan into fully electric driving. With 338 hp and all-wheel drive, it delivers smooth, responsive performance alongside an approximate driving range of 465 km of WLTP.* The ES350h offers a different route to electrified driving, with 244 hp [+29 hp vs. current generation], a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive, and fuel consumption of approximately 27.7 km/L [+15% vs. current generation].***
The new ES has been designed to make every journey more comfortable, with a spacious cabin and technology that supports the driver without overwhelming the experience. Key information and controls are positioned for easy access through the multimedia and head-up displays, while the available Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System with 17 Speakers delivers rich, clear sound throughout the cabin. Lexus Safety System+ 4.0 provides added support on the road, complemented by Advanced Park system, the Panoramic View Monitor and Parking Support Brake when maneuvering.
The ES500e Platinum DIRECT4 AWD further distinguishes the battery-electric model with 21-inch alloy wheels, semi-aniline leather seats and Adaptive Variable Suspension, adding to its combination of craftsmanship, comfort and controlled performance. Type 2 three-phase 22 kW charging supports everyday charging needs. At 5,140 mm [+165mm] long with a 2,950 mm [+80mm] wheelbase, the new ES also offers increased dimensions compared with the current generation, supporting a spacious, comfort-focused cabin.
The ES350h and ES500e are available in seven exterior colour options, including newly introduced Sou and Sonic Copper, along with three interior colour choices, including the newly introduced White.
