Bapco Energies, the energy investment and development arm of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has been announced as a Strategic Partner for Sustainability Forum Middle East’s upcoming second edition.
Set to take place on January 8-9, 2024, in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Forum aims to promote climate action and regional decarbonisation.
Its focus will be on “Achieving Net Zero – Pathways to Accelerating Implementation,” and will be held in the presence of the Minister of Oil and Environment, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, H.E. Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina.
Speaking about the announcement, Group Chief Executive Officer Mark Thomas, who will headline the event with a keynote address, said: “We take pride in being a Strategic Partner for the second consecutive year. Our partnership reflects our steadfast commitment and unwavering support for Bahrain’s ambitious Net-Zero by 2060 target and its sustainable economic diversification.
