PVH Awarded Solar Tracker Supplier Contract for Solar Project in Turkey

PV Hardware (PVH) has announced that it has secured the solar tracker systems supplier contract for the Kalyon PV solar project in Viranşehir, Turkey.

A GE Vernova and Kalyon PV development, the project will feature PVH’s AxoneDuo Infinity tracker technology.

The Viranşehir solar power station is set to provide renewable electricity to Kalyon Enerji’s 157 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) factory, it was shared.

According to PVH, its solar tracker offering acts to optimise the efficiency and output of the solar power station to maximise energy production.

“PVH is thrilled to contribute to Kalyon PV’s visionary project in Viranşehir,” Alvaro Casado Portuondo, Chief Revenue Officer of PVH Middle East, commented. “Our advanced AxoneDuo Infinity tracking systems are designed to provide the highest efficiency at lower costs with pre-assembled delivery and reliability of solar power installations. We are committed to supporting Türkiye’s ambitious renewable energy goals.”

Megi Gabriyel, Region Leader of Solar & Storage Solutions for the Middle East, Africa, and Türkiye at GE Vernova, said that GE Vernova offers “comprehensive financing” for this project, which includes support from export credit agencies.

“This helps provide competitive financing options to facilitate and scale up the adoption of renewable energy technologies in the energy sector,” added Gabriyel.
